Crews battled a huge 4-alarm fire at an under-construction apartment building in Salt Lake City, Utah, overnight. Hundreds of residents in the area were evacuated early Wednesday as the Salt Lake City Fire Department fought the blaze in the Sugar House neighborhood. A video shared by Lizzie Fillo shows the entire multistory building in flames. Glowing embers can be seen shooting up a thick column of smoke and falling around the building. The fire department warned of heavy smoke and high danger in the area, warning residents to steer clear. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, fire officials said. The building, Lowe Property Groups Sugar Alley, was set to open next year with 186 units and three large retail spaces on the ground floor, per reports.
