A double-decker bus burst into flames in south London on Friday morning.
Dramatic video shared by Twitter user Laurence Nealon shows the flames coming from the back of the bus and an enormous cloud of smoke billowing over the area. Bystanders gathered to watch the spectacle.
The London Fire Brigade was called to the scene on Brixton Hill at about 9:50 a.m., and the blaze was extinguished by 10:22 a.m. The fire brigade said that the driver and passengers left the bus before firefighters arrived, and there were no injuries reported.
An image of the aftermath shows the back of the bus completely destroyed by the fire, black and melted.
