Insanely dangerous fire in Washington Heights near 179th and Audubon.

A fire broke out on the balcony of a 16th-floor apartment in New York City on Monday night. The fire at 179th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan was reported at around 9:45 p.m. A video shared by Twitter user Jordan Grubb shows the flames midway up the high-rise, with a stream of black smoke rising. The New York City Fire Department reported on Twitter at 10:32 p.m. that the blaze was under control. No injuries were reported.
