Update on MSU Shooting from Law Enforcement that the Suspect is Deceased, and Additional Information.

The suspect in a deadly shooting spree at Michigan State University in East Lansing Monday night died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.
In a Tuesday morning press conference, MSUs interim deputy chief Chris Rozman identified the suspect as 43-year-old Anthony McRae.
MSU Police reported shots fired near Berkley Hall shortly after 8 p.m. Monday and advised the public to shelter in place. The suspect was reported to be on foot as authorities searched the campus. Shortly before 9:30 p.m., another shooting was reported at the IM East Fitness Center.
There were three confirmed fatalities, and five injured victims were transported to Sparrow Hospital in critical condition, according to MSU Police.
McRae was located off campus Early Tuesday, deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
All of the victims were students, and McRae’s motive is still under investigation, Rozman said.
All campus activities were canceled for 48 hours, including classes, athletics and other activities.
