An elderly man was allegedly beaten and robbed in Tulsa, Okla., and police are searching for the suspect captured on surveillance video. According to the Tulsa Police Department, the victim was returning to his home at about 3:50 p.m. when he was approached by the suspect, who was pushing a bicycle. A video released by police shows the encounter under a covered carport, which appears friendly at first. According to police, the suspect told the victim that he used to play ball with the victims sons. He then allegedly asked the victim for $50, and became upset when he refused. The video shows both men entering the house, and the suspect leaving the house about 13 minutes later. The victim said the suspect followed him inside his house, pushed him down on the couch, then punched him in the eye, lip, and jaw, police said in a statement. The victim said the suspect also kicked him several times, then took all the cash out of his wallet and threw his phone down the hallway away from the victim. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward, or submit an anonymous tip.
