Search For North Carolina Driver Who Allegedly Intentionally Ran Over Six Migrant Workers In A Walmart Parking Lot (7/30/23)
Police in North Carolina are seeking the publics help identifying a driver who allegedly intentionally ran over six migrant workers in a Walmart parking lot on Sunday.
According to the Lincolnton Police Department, the driver of a mid-size black sport utility vehicle struck six migrant workers in the Walmart parking lot at 306 North Generals Boulevard at around 1:17 p.m. on Sunday.
All six victims were transported to Atrium Health – Lincoln with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
According to police, the attack “appears to be an intentional assault with a vehicle,” and the “motives of the suspect are still under investigation.”
The driver is described as an older white male, and the SUV is described as having a luggage rack.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective M. Diallo at the Lincolnton Police Department.
