The Powerball jackpot has risen to an estimated $645 million ahead of Monday night’s drawing after there were no winners in Wednesday’s grand prize drawing.
No tickets in Saturday’s drawing matched all six numbers: white balls 12, 23, 44, 57, 61 and red Powerball 5, with a Power Play multiplier of 2x.
Three tickets sold in Michigan, New Jersey and South Carolina, matched all five white balls to win $1 million prizes. Six tickets won $100,000 prizes and 35 tickets won $50,000 prizes.
In the Double Play drawing, a ticket sold in Iowa matched all five black balls 9, 11, 13, 29, 69 to win a $500,000 prize. The double Play is an add-on feature available in certain jurisdictions for an additional $1 per play. The top prize for matching all five black balls plus the Powerball is $10 million.
The current jackpot is the second to climb above a $600 million this year, according to Powerball.
The Powerball jackpot was previously won on New Year’s Day, by a ticket in Michigan that won a prize worth $842.4 million. Since then, there have been 32 drawings without a grand prize winner. Before that, the last jackpot was won on Oct, 11, 2023, worth $1.765 billion.
The largest Powerball jackpot was $2.04 billion won on Nov. 7, 2022.
The current $645 million jackpot has an estimated cash value of $307.3 million, according to Powerball. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, but the odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9. Monday’s drawing will be broadcast at 10:59 p.m. EST from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee, Fla.
