Nebraska Man Arrested For Shooting, Killing 10-Year-Old Son On Thanksgiving

A Nebraska man has been arrested on suspicion of shooting and killing his 10-year-old son on Thanksgiving, police said Friday.
The Omaha Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 1112 N. 31st Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday and found a child with a gunshot wound.
Kendrick McDonald, 10, was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries, police said. Multiple witnesses inside the home were brought in for questioning.
Kendrick’s father, 47-year-old Will McDonald was arrested for criminal homicide, illegal use of a gun and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
No details were released about the circumstances of the shooting. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
