Another earthquake struck Mexico early Thursday, resulting in at least two deaths, according to officials. The magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck near the epicenter of Mondays magnitude 7.6 quake in the western state of Michoacán, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. A video shared by Twitter user @aandriolli shows people gathered outside after evacuating a Marriott hotel in the Reforma district of Mexico City. Seismic alarms can be heard blaring. At least two people died as a result of the earthquake in Mexico City, Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum tweeted Thursday. One woman fell down the stairs of her home and hit her head, and one man had a heart attack.
