More – Medley, FL: Explosion At Truck Dealership Results In Two Deaths Per Reports

Two people were killed and three more were injured on Tuesday when an explosion and fire broke out on a lot of semi trucks in Medley, Fla., according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
Videos and photos shared by the fire department show multiple trucks and vehicles and at least one structure burned and smoking as firefighters douse the last of the flames.
Fire officials said they responded to the blaze at 11350 NW South River Drive at 8:42 a.m., and arrived to find “a large plume of smoke and heavy fire coming from multiple vehicles.” Per reports, the building housed a welding shop for large trucks.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, two were hospitalized with burn injuries, and a third injured person was treated at the scene, according to fire officials.
The Miami-Dade Police homicide and arson units are investigating the cause of the fire. None of the victims identities have yet been released.
