A flock of birds near the National Weather Service office in Indianapolis, Ind., was so large it appeared on radar over the weekend. A video shared by the NWS shows thousands of birds swarming over a stand of trees on Saturday. “Is this a bad omen or do the birds just really like the persimmon trees in our back yard? Not seen: the thousand more birds in the grass,” the agency tweeted alongside the video. “The birds are even causing an increase in radar returns!” NWS Indianapolis didnt report any unusual weather in the region Saturday, other than some gusty winds.
