The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office in California on Tuesday identified the six victims of a “massacre” at a Goshen home in the early hours Monday. The victims were identified as 72-year-old Rosa Parraz, 52-year-old Eladio Parraz Jr., 50-year-old Jennifer Analla, 19-year-old Marcos Parraz, 16-year-old Elyssa Parraz and her 10-month-old son Nycholas Parraz. In a Tuesday press conference, Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said the victims were family members, some of whom had known gang and drug associations. There were three survivors of the shooting, including one who called 911. Boudreaux said deputies arrived less than ten minutes after the 911 call was placed, and found the six deceased victims inside and outside the home. Boudreaux said that in his many years in law enforcement, he has seen horrific things, but, “what I have not seen is the very clear assassination-style to a teenage mother.” Investigators believe the mother and her infant tried to flee the residence, as they were found together outside the home. It was clear the shooters stood over the top of the 16-year-old mother and fired rounds into her head, Boudreaux said. The 10-month-old infant also suffered from the same attack. None of this was by accident. Boudreaux said that there is a history of gang and drug activity at the home, but that not everyone who lives there were involved in gangs or drugs. A drug warrant was served at the home the week prior, Boudreaux said. Eladio Parraz was arrested and bailed out four days later. “This was a cartel-like execution. We are not eliminating the idea that the cartel was involved, Boudreaux said. “We do have cartel in Tulare County.” Boudreaux said the department is searching for two unnamed suspects, but did not provide descriptions. “I know certain things that I am not able to release right now,” he said. “Theyre watching whats happening today as well.”
