Four swimmers were rescued on Sunday after they fell off personal watercrafts in the choppy Bakers Haulover Inlet just north of Miami, Florida. Miami-Dade Fire Rescues Ocean Rescue Lifeguards shared a video that shows rescuers navigating strong and choppy currents to reach four swimmers in distress about 300 yards out from the inlet. All four were brought aboard boats and transported to shore. One of the swimmers suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local trauma center, the fire department said. Along with the MDFD Ocean Rescue Lifeguards, Fireboat 21, lifeguards from Tower 11, Sea Tow, and the Miami-Dade Police Department all responded.
