Divers with the Okaloosa County Sheriffs Office pulled a stolen SUV from the Yellow River in Florida on Sunday. A video shared by the sheriffs office shows divers using a chain to secure the submerged Chevrolet Tahoe, and machines pull it to shore. Deputy Casey Dennis, one of the divers on the scene, said Eglin Air Force Base security forces alerted the sheriffs office that someone reported the submerged vehicle in the river near Rattlesnake Bluff Road, south of Crestview. Responders first had to determine whether there were any remains in the SUV before they could pull it out. The vehicle was reported stolen in Crestview, according to the sheriffs office. The water on Sunday was about 52 degrees, Dennis said. When you compound the cold water with the rushing current we had to work in yesterday… yesterday was kind of a tricky dive,” he said.
