An Idaho woman is dead, her 10-month-old son is missing, and authorities are seeking her husband on suspicion of murder and kidnapping, the Teton County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
The sheriff’s office said it received a 911 call from a residence at 4600 Skyline Loop in Victor at approximately 11:39 p.m. Thursday. The dispatcher heard a disturbance on the line and sent deputies to respond. When deputies arrived, they found 38-year-old Kali Jean Randall dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office believes her husband, 48-year-old Jeremy Albert Best, fled the scene with their 10-month-old son Zeke Gregory Best. An Amber Alert was activated to locate the child.
Officials said Jeremy Best is suspected of homicide and kidnapping, and should be considered armed and very dangerous.
Best was last seen in Victor on Thursday and is believed to be driving a Black 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV with Idaho plates 1T39349.
Authorities are asking anyone who sees or has information on Best’s location to call 911 immediately and to not approach or confront him.
