Country star Morgan Wallen was arrested in Nashville overnight and booked early Monday on felony charges after allegedly throwing a chair from a rooftop bar.
Wallen, 30, was booked early Monday on three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, the Metro Nashville Police Department said in a statement.
The Up Down singer was on the rooftop at Chief’s Bar in the downtown entertainment district when he allegedly threw a chair over the edge shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday. The bar is owned by country singer Eric Church.
Two police officers were standing on the ground just outside the six-story building when the chair fell and hit the street just a few feet away from them.
According to police, bar staff told officers that Wallen threw the chair, and video footage of the incident corroborated that account.
Police said Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250.
