The FBI field office in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday announced the arrest of three boys dubbed the Little Rascals for allegedly robbing a bank last week.
On March 14, the FBI posted surveillance photos of the boys, who were estimated to be between 14 and 18 years old, following a robbery at the Wells Fargo bank branch at 10261 North Freeway.
On Tuesday, the FBI confirmed the boys, ages 11, 12 and 16, had been arrested and charged with robbery by threat.
Because they are juveniles, their names and no additional details will be released, the FBI said.
The Little Rascals is a 1994 film that follows a rag-tag group of boys, based on Our Gang, a series of short films dating back to the 1920s that were later syndicated for TV under the title The Little Rascals.
